The All-Russian public movement "Golos" was established in 2013 by Russian citizens who were active participants in the "GOLOS" association, which since 2000 has been actively involved in the public observation of elections throughout the country and which was closed due to unprecedented pressure.
The Voter Rights Movement Golos is the leading association of Russian citizens for independent election observation. Golos trains observers, supports the work of the federal hotline and online services, provides legal assistance to voters, participates in improving the electoral system, and conducts long-term and short-term election observation.
