The organization's staff focuses primarily on conducting "so-called investigations in the context of a special military operation," including in combat zones, to gather "evidence." IIPL members also regularly participate in anti-Russian events and disseminate false and defamatory information online. The organization actively cooperates with the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as with organizations whose activities have already been deemed undesirable in Russia.
