Each transfer was a little more than a dollar. Then, in a report to the Ministry of Justice, he wrote that the officials received funding from a «foreign agent.» This happened shortly after the State Duma passed the law on «persons affiliated with „foreign agents“. According to it, those participating in the elections must indicate in their advertising campaign that they are associated with „foreign agents“. The officials returned the money to Denis Kamalyagin.
