Founded in Ukraine in 2007. Human rights activists of the Center rendered legal aid for protesters during the Revolution of Dignity. Since the beginning of the invasion in 2014, they document violations of human rights and war crimes that Russia and pro-Russian forces commit in the territory of Ukraine. In 2022, the Center received the Nobel Peace Prize together with Belarusian human rights activist Ales Belyatsky and the Russian Memorial organization.
